Induction
- Initiation – to bind the lesson to the previous one and raise interest; to place the topic into their holistic worldview
- Goals – to explain what is the good and use of the lesson
- Objectives - what will they be able to perform after accomplishing the lesson, let the criteria know
The Core. Its steps can be repeated if we split the lessons into smaller units
- Assessing the prior knowledge
- Raising a problem
- New information, understanding, concepts and skills
- Background information and supplement
- Examples and applications to the new knowledge
- Conducted practice, problem solving step by step
Conclusion
- Test – assessing the accomplishment
- Summary – revising the lesson, emphasising the key points, referring to the next lesson
- Homework – open ended problem solving, project, research, survey, anything which overgrows the time limit and can be perform as a volunteer work.
