Learning objectives in compliance with Bloom's taxonomy:
The Bloom's taxonomy is used the determine and design activities, assessment and learning objectives, as it involves the three basic domains of learning and their levels, building in each other with the werbs can be used.
The tree main domains are:
- Knowledge or remembering and understanding – cognitive domain
- Emotions and feeling related to the subject – attitude domain
- Manual or physcal skills – psychomotor domain
How to design learning objectives?
- Make sure that assessments and objectives are harmonized
- The learning outcomes should comprise the minimum performance
- Only a few but fundamental objectives are needed: 4-8 to every module and maximum 25 to the whole project
- Only one verb should belong to each objective
- The description of the objective should be concise
- Check if the objectives meet the result of analysis
