The order and structure of the content
We have to think how to structure and group the material. It refers not only to the material as a whole, but to the lessons.
Options for the complete content:

Building up in linear, logical order
- From part to the whole – synthesis
- From whole to the part – analysis
- From known to unknow
- From general to particular
- By time
- By location
- By the level of difficulty
- Pragmatic view (according to the order of using information)
- In spiral (returning and referring to the previous lessons)
- Etc., depending on the content.
- The best way to leave the way of navigaton to the students. Design branches and give them the control, so that they can make progress at their own pace and learning style.
If it is a one-man project, you can design and develop lessons one by one, as separate units. Later you can stitch them in various ways. |
